Safe working practices on Australian railways saw the introduction of British-style mechanical two-postion lower-quadrant sempahore signals in the nineteenth century. Thousands were installed all over the country but were gradually replaced and few examples of these beautiful lattice mast signals remain today.

Trainbuilder is producing lattice mast “somersault” semaphore signals in HO-scale brass.
We will be offering both home and distant signals with operating blades and lamps lit with an LED behind the “spectacles”.
Various types of devices can be adapted to operate our signals such as slow motion stall machines and servo drivers.
